Though on the surface Turtle may look like the leech of the group, he proves time and time again to be a loyal friend and valuable asset to the crew. His laid back disposition helps keep the group grounded during Vince’s rise to superstardom and acts as a welcome character contrast to many of the series’ more aggressive personalities. Turtle even develops an entrepreneurial spirit of his own as the series’ story arc develops, opening up his own car service, investing in a tequila business, and eventually setting out to open up his own restaurant.
