California-born Assaf Cohen plays the part of the larger-than-life Yair Marx, first in season three then again in season four. When Assaf’s character is first introduced in the third season’s nineteenth episode, Eric inquires, “so, what, this guy’s a prince, Ari?” Ari’s response sums up the character of Yair Marx very nicely: “a prince, an arms dealer, a coke dealer… who knows?”
