Entourage Movie Production to Begin in January

We’ve now got a start date for the upcoming Entourage movie. With the entire cast now on board, cameras are set to start rolling on January 16th, 2014. Doug Ellin made mention of a possible January start date shortly after the film’s remaining cast deals were signed, but confirmed the 16th just two days ago.

Entertainment publication Variety disclosed the news to its readers shortly after Doug’s announcement, along with the total tax credit amount that the film will receive from the state of California. Back in June, the project was selected at random to be a part of the California Tax Credit, which provides financial incentive for groups bringing high budget film production to the state. According to Variety, the Entourage movie will receive nearly $6 million of the program’s total pool to help offset any tax liabilities the movie incurs.
