Mr. Ellin Preparing Script’s Second Draft
Doug Ellin recently posted a tweet letting his followers know that he’s started in on the second draft of the film’s script. The tweet included a photo that Mr. Ellin had posted to Instagram of himself, along with Vince, the guys and their pretend moms on the set of the fifth season’s finale episode.
Start second draft of E movie script today. Critics don’t get how much work goes in. Hopefully it pays off instagr.am/p/RiGj3JNQHy/? Doug Ellin (@mrdougellin) November 2, 2012
Five days later, Constance Zimmer (who played Dana Gordon in the series) offered some additional insight into the status of the Entourage movie. She had mentioned that the crew hopes to start shooting next year (2013), but that several details still need to be ironed out.
You keep asking: #entouragemovie is hoping to shoot next year, but there’s a lot of things that need to happen, as soon as I know u’ll know.? Constance Zimmer (@oczimmer) November 8, 2012
It doesn’t sound like the movie is a 100% certainty just yet, but it’s obvious that Doug and the cast are all doing their part. It’s awesome to hear that Constance may be a part of the project and it will be interesting to see what sort of role Dana will be playing in the movie after the way things ended in the final season.
