Two of Movie’s Five Leads Currently Signed On

After weeks of speculation, several sources have reported that pay negotiations involving a couple of the show’s leading men are the cause of the current Entourage movie delay. New York Post’s Page Six recently revealed that of the five leading actors, only Kevin Connolly (Eric) and Jeremy Piven (Ari) have officially signed on for the project. The article goes on to say that Adrian Grenier (Vince), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle) and Kevin Dillon (Drama) have yet to agree to the terms of any contract.

If this is all true and less than half of the project’s leading actors are on board, director Doug Ellin’s recent skepticism of the movie’s eventual production is understandable. But it’s worth noting that all of these details have been released without any confirmation from Mr. Ellin or anyone else directly involved. We’ll continue to keep our ears to the ground as details of further cast negotiation surface.
